LSD Abstraction, 1965

For this exhibition, MoMA devoted its entire sixth floor to a living artist for the first time in its history. The installation comprised 291 object works and 11 time-based meta-works, distributed over a total of 21,000 square feet, including the Marron Atrium. Overall museum attendance during the duration of the exhibition was 979,416. The exhibition received a total of 209 notices, of which one was unfavorable.
